Foods to Help with Subtle Poisoning

I painted my bedroom this weekend with California Paints and inhaling the stuff for only a few hours made me ill. In light of all this, I think it appropriate to list some foods that help flush the body and detox from subtle poisoning. This is what I'm doing to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

  1. Drink as much filtered water as you can (up to 1 gallon a day)
  2. Eat seaweed (seaweed binds toxins and escorts them safely out of the body). I'm eating loads of dulse, my favorite.
  3. Take homeopathic gem essences: Black Tourmaline Essence, Amethyst Essence. 2 drops 6 times a day.
  4. Since this hit my lungs particularly I am BREATHING a lot. Take DEEP BREATHS.
  5. Freely drink the what I call "color teas"- Red, Green and Black (in order of importance)
  6. Burdock- steam the roots or put them in soup and eat them. Drink the tea of dried roots.

New Book - Vector + Raster Fun with Fashion Design



Hello Everyone
I have taken a bit of a hiatus from posting to Life is Recipes during the last few months. The good news is that I have been devoting lots of time to another writing endeavor, a book! This book acts as a companion for the digital fashion and textile design classes that I teach at FIT, Parsons, and 3rd Ward.
